Help Those in Recovery Become Evergreen
We chose Evergreen as our Christmas theme this year because, even in the dark of winter, evergreen trees never lose their leaves. And just like those trees, the people who complete our program with long term recovery never lose hope in the power of community and continual relationship with God. In this way, they are evergreen. These are the people who reach back and help others. People like Travis and Brittany.
Travis and Brittany began using heroin and meth together in their early twenties. CPS eventually removed their two children from their care. After attempting recovery for the second time, Brittany found love and grace at Awake Ministries. Travis saw her transformation and agreed to enroll in the program. In September of 2019, the couple married, and by the grace of God, their parental rights were restored! Travis is currently working toward owning his own business. They are so thankful for their time at Awake Ministries that they are currently training to become volunteer leaders to extend the love, hope, and grace they experienced there to others in the program.
Stories like this are only made possible by you.
Awake Ministries offers a path to transformation and lasting recovery—to become evergreen—at no cost to any of our clients. We can only do that through the generosity of our supporters. From people like you who care about our mission.
Through the end of this year, an anonymous donor will match all donations, dollar for dollar, up to $75,000. Will you help us reach our goal so that more individuals like Travis and Brittany can become evergreen?
